Here are some of the enhanced features in Version 9:

General
• Requires Windows XP with Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2003 SP1 or later (Vista/7/Server 2008).
• New database engine to keep pace with current and future Windows operating system updates.
• New Letters/Emails capability added to allow creating templates to mass merge/print letters and envelopes and/or send email blasts. Create your own letters or emails, create a distribution list, and send customized individual letters or emails to each party on your distribution list! This is a must have powerful marketing and communications tool!
      - Create a letter and/or email message using powerful message formatting features.
      - Samples provided for Invitation to Bid, Request for Recommendation, and Customer Retention.
      - Import the distribution list from your company contacts in the Quantum Project Manager.
      - You can also copy/paste company lists and email addresses into the distribution list.
      - You can also edit the distribution list directly to add/edit/delete information for each contact.
      - Fill in fields from the distribution list into the letter/email for customized personal messages.
      - Create as many letters or email blasts as you want. There is no limit!
      - Print letters and envelopes and/or send emails. The choice is yours!
• New tabbed user interface to make navigation through program faster and more intuitive.
• Publish and report directly to PDF or XPS file formats from print preview. XPS is the new XML Paper Specification that preserves document formatting and the data in the file cannot be easily changed.
• One-click emailing of any report using PDF or XPS file format via toolbar button in print preview.

Contractor Billing
• Changed line item description in schedule of values to allow formatting text to use bold, italic, underline, color, font name/size, center, right, left, number, bullet, etc. Payment application and other reports show the new formatted text.

Certified Payroll Tracking
• All the state and federal reporting forms are up to date.
• New tax table version 2010-07-20.
• You get all the updates for the next year to remain current on the report formats and tax table updates.

Estimating
• Changed proposal documents to allow formatting text to use bold, italic, underline, color, font name/size, center, right, left, number, bullet, etc.

Communications
• Changed all documents to allow formatting main body of document text to use bold, italic, underline, color, font name/size, center, right, left, number, bullet, etc. Reports and printed documents show the new formatted text.

Note: The Quantum Project Manager Program prints information onto original AIA^* Contract Documents, which users must purchase from AIA^*. This program does not generate any original AIA^* Contract Documents.
